Wisconsin Senate race controversy: what happened at 4AM?
How another race was flipped at 4 a.m. on election night
In 2020, the American people went to bed on election night with one candidate with a hefty lead, only to wake up with that lead evaporated in states that ultimately decided the election.
One of them was Wisconsin - home to two key metro areas, Milwaukee and Madison. Both cities are also notoriously “blue.”
Four years later, Donald Trump was able to stave off middle-of-the-night lead flips thanks to ballots that were “found” and counted after everyone stopped watching.
Except Eric Hovde.
