Tuesday night, President Donald Trump’s endorsed candidate for governor of New Jersey, Republican Jack Ciattarelli, easily won the GOP primary.

Meanwhile, in a much closer race but with significantly higher vote totals overall, Democrats chose their nominee: U.S. Rep. Mikie Sherrill.

Republican activists such as Scott Presler have made it their mission to flip New Jersey red after the 2024 election.
