Let's discuss the elephant in the room: early voting data
Republicans are in the middle of a trend that is doom for Democrats if it continues.
There’s a growing hope among Republican circles that the winner of the 2024 presidential election may be clear in less than 2 weeks.
How could that happen? Well, in 2020, early and mail-in voting was dominated by Democrats. Not just nationally, but in the states where it mattered.
The week of Oct. 21 has marked a continued trend sparking excitement among Republicans that their overperformances could pay huge dividends in the form of an easy victory for former President Donald Trump.
I will warn you (and have to warn myself sometimes): early voting data, though sometimes a glimmering beacon of hope for the party doing well, can be unintentionally misleading if read improperly.
Let’s try our best to not do that - and discuss where the GOP is at with 13 days to go.
