Final early voting update: GOP cements a stronger position before election day

Though not perfectly predictive of final results, early voting signifies enthusiasm for the GOP.

We’re on the cusp of Election Day polls opening, and the early voting is all but final.

Some states will certainly have more mail-in ballots come in on Election Day, but barring a 2020-style razor-thin race, the eventual victor should be known before we have to wait for those potentially several days after Nov. 5.

The burning question: who did better in early voting where it mattered, Republicans or Democrats?
